My journey into the world of nutrition began with a deep fascination for the profound impact that food choices can have on our overall well-being. My goal is to reduce the noise and confusion surrounding food choices and provide simple, practical everyday advice that anyone can benefit from, in addition to promoting overall wellness through physical fitness.

Experience
I wasn't always the healthiest eater, I grew up in the UK in a world of sweet shops and Walkers crisps, as a teenager I semi-starved myself (to fit in my jeans) and in my 20s I suffered with reactive hypo-glycaemia and consequently PCOS. Studying the field of nutrition has enabled me to finally regulate my glucose, and control my cravings . My journey to good health has required breaking many bad habits and adopting healthier ones, as well as working hard to regain my physical and mental fitness, I know it can be tough. I am now in my late 50s and feel fitter than ever. I can't wait to help you feel the same way.
Passion
Previous to my training in Nutrition and Pilates I worked as a professional chef on a charter boat for 10 years, this sparked my passion for aesthetically beautiful, delicious food made from whole ingredients and has led to the creation of Balance {d) Smoothies, Balls and Bars.
